Till the 19th September 2020, the Gagosian Gallery is paying homage to renowned author Curzio Malaparte, who in 1988 purchased a plot of land overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea in Capri, Italy.
Malaparte designed the house in its entirety, supervising everything from the location and construction to the floor plan and furniture. Malaparte’s youngest descendant has produced editions of key pieces of furniture that to this day, grace the house. The exhibition will take place in the Davies Street gallery, where current health guidelines will be implemented.
