I must admit I do love a pretty candle, but sometimes all we have to work with are those simple under appreciated white candles.
Don’t get me wrong now, sometimes plain white candles are more than enough to transform a simple setting into a beautiful, flickering wonderland. What do you do if you want to stick with the white candles but have something a little different?
I came across this DIY post for Print Candles on the blog Les Cotrions, Vale makes it look really easy & her technique opens up the door to go creative crazy with other design ideas.
So lets get creative!
You will need to gather together the following items:-
Any white candle of your choice, an image printed on vellum paper, oven (wax) paper and a hair dryer or heat tool
Lay the image on the candle in the position you want
Wrap the wax paper around the the candle and secure firmly
Heat gently with the hair dryer until the image is transferred onto the candle
Let the candle cool down, then gently remove the paper to reveal the design
