When we think of personal drones these days, probably the majority will be for flying purposes and most are perfect for almost any environment.
A lot of these drones are used for commercial uses thereby allowing a great way to capture different perspectives such as for photo shoots, wildlife filming etc. There was one medium were drones were somewhat limited, and this was underwater exploration, especially for the use in diving.
Well, now there is a French-based company which allows you to discover the depts of any lake or sea with their new submersible drone. Called simply the ïbubble”, this submarine drone can dive to a depth of almost 60m on an hours charge while connected to a wristwatch for the diver to control. It also comes equipped with a HD camera to record amazing shots.
It will be very interesting when we start seeing more divers take their drones on a dive and the images they come back with.
