Surfing may not be first thing you associate with Wales but a huge surf lagoon has been created that might just change your opinion.
Called Surf Snowdonia and located in the village of Dolgarrog in North Wales, this huge man made wave generator might just be the longest pool in the world.
It was built on a former industrial site, which closed in 2007 and took just a little over 12 months to complete. The complex consists of a number of wooden camping pods which can sleep up to 4 adults for people who wish to stay longer.
There is also a Surf Side Bar and a coffee a shop to help you chill out after a long day’s surfing.
